When my cousin Aliesha asked me to photograph her wedding and her engagement session I was beyond honored and very excited. Since the two of them are from the area we chose to shoot in Galveston on The Strand and the beach. Despite the wind, cold and with the amazing help of Matt’s mom we got all the shots we wanted. Here are a few from the session….ENJOY
This has been a very anxious wait for me and the spokesmodels, and can I say I am beyond impressed with what Brackston did with the video. He is amazingly talented. Not only did he video it, edit it, but he is also the singer in the song along with his band What a Day. You can follow them on facebook at http://www.facebook.com/whatadayband?ref=ts&fref=ts
Again, thank you so much Sarah Heath for your amazing talent on the hair and makeup. She can be reached at VClay salon at http://www.vclaysalon.com/.
I hope you enjoy the video, and remember to follow us on twitter and facebook.

Just wanted to post a picture so I thought this one was just gorgeous. She is beautiful inside and out.
We had a shoot were I told them two things: Come in your promo dresses and also come with something that reflects you and your personality.
They did just that. I have the dress pictures and I am working on the personality ones so you will have to check back for those in the next few days…..

I have known Parker since he was a little boy who would come over barefoot and him and his brothers were best friends with my nephews. I can not believe he is already graduating from high school. It makes me feel VERY old. I will say he has turned into a very handsome and amazing young man. Here are a few images from his session. I will add more as I get them edited. ENJOY

I haven’t posted in a while because I am trying to catch up with the busy senior session.
So Carly came to me as a senior who was already done with school and just was waiting to walk with her class on graduation day. Her entire family and doggie came to watch her session and they were a huge help. We had a blast, almost got arrested and got yelled at. That’s when I say a session is complete, when the cops show up. I will say people in small towns have nothing better to do than worry about where you park when there isn’t a soul around. Have you been to Martindale? There are around 1000 people and I don’t even know if I believe that. Any who, here are images form Carly’s session.
Thank you Carly for being so patient…

We went all around Austin for Tad’s senior session. His sister was an amazing help at driving us around to find the coolest spots. Let’s just say it wasn’t the easiest session to do. Traffic was awful, parking was awful, people were in the way, I stood in sewage…..yes sewage. But, all in all we had a great time and got these shots.

So, I guess you have noticed I have been MIA for a little while. Well, I traveled to Dallas for a photography conference where 1,000 “photographers” went to learn something new. I took an amazing class from a group known as TriCoast based out of the Houston area. I have known these guys for a long time, and they rock at off camera flash….and while I know how to do it, I wanted to take it up a notch.
I think everyone can learn something from someone and actually I learn new stuff every day. I learned that I can’t only get 4 to 5 hours of sleep each night for a week and not get sick, that my room mate takes two hours to get ready, that just because it is free food doesn’t mean it’s good, that some people don’t know how to talk to models, that if I got up at 6 every day I would be starving by 9 am, that my protein powder looks like heroin, that I make friends really fast, that another photographer in my town hates me and hasn’t even met me, that I love crazy British men, that free wine and beer is better when it is free, that I love my peers, and taking work out clothes with you doesn’t count towards working out. There are a lot more, but I will spare you the details. Just know I am back and ready to go baby. I have a busy week of senior sessions and I am so excited to try out my new skills.
Here are a few shots from my time at Texas School of the models…..

So I always ask my seniors to use three words to describe themselves-loving, loyal and respectful…I LOVE THIS ANSWER!!! This is how Taylor described herself, and she was so amazing to work with that I couldn’t agree more. We did her session in the studio and surrounding where I have access to some of the most amazing back drops. This really I feel has set me apart from other “photographers”, this and lighting as well as the knowledge I obtained over time. Every senior session is designed around the senior, and I go to great lengths to find out exactly who they are and what they want, as well as what the parents want during the session. Okay, I have rambled on….here are her images.
Thanks Taylor for choosing me as your photographer!!!!

This is the beautiful Chyloe!!! I have known Chyloe for a few years so I was so excited to do her senior session. We had a blast doing her indoor and outdoor images, and she even danced for me which was so special because she is truly an amazing dancer. I know she will go far in her life with teaching dance because her passion just radiates through her entire body. You will also see where we did a image to represent her father who she lost a few years ago.
